Vitamn Deficiency and Female Hair Loss

Millions of women worldwide suffer from female hair loss and there are many different reasons for their hair loss. Sometimes it can be very difficult for a dermatologist to find the exact reason for hair loss on an individual. Most doctors ask their patient to go back three months and try to find any changes that may have occurred in their life.

A vitamin deficiency may cause mild to severe symptoms. What you discover and assume severe may be treated with a simple vitamin. Without the right amount vitamins your hair may feel course and rough instead of soft and smooth.

Vitamin E performs the vital function of increasing blood circulation towards the scalp. This also helps the hair follicle get enough oxygen to perform properly and generate growth. A deficiency in vitamin E would affect any follicular function.

There are four different types of vitamin B which also cast adverse effects on the hairs condition if there is not enough intake to help function properly. Biotin is a complex B vitamin that curbs hair loss and contributes highly in keeping hairs firmly attached to the scalp. This vitamin is found mostly in milk and egg yolks. Para Amino Benzoic Acid is another B complex vitamin that is just as important to hair nourishment as are vitamins B6 and Inositol.

Hair follicles require vitamins to carry on their constant growth cycle. Follicles that are deprived of nutrients will cease to function and hair will not only stop growing, it will soon begin to fall out without any new growth to replace the falling out hairs. Most often this hair loss is due to a poor diet or disturbed metabolism.

When you suffer from a vitamin deficiency it can be corrected by simply adding the right vitamin to your diet. You can also take vitamin supplements daily in order to supply the body with the right amount of vitamins. Maybe mom and dad was on to something when they would make their children eat their veggies.
