What are the Types of Lung Cancer?

The two types of lung cancer to start with are Primary Lung Cancer, cancer starting in the lung, and Secondary Lung Cancer, cancer that spreads to the lungs.

The Non-Small Cell Types of Lung Cancer

• Adenocarcinoma - typically found in the outer regions of the lungs. More common in women than men.
• Large-Cell Undifferentiated Carcinoma - More rare than the first two and more aggressive.

The Small Cell Types of Lung Cancer

• Mixed Small Cell/Large Cell Carcinoma
• Combined Small Cell Carcinoma
