analyzing the cause of toe nail fungus

You have just been given the devastating news that you have toe nail fungus. Be prepared. Nail fungus is very difficult to get rid of and it may take you months before your nails can look normal. There is even a chance that you can get it again.

Unfortunately, there aren’t that many solutions that you can try to get to the root cause of toe nail fungus. Some of the ointments just don’t work and oral medicines may result in serious side effects. Your only other valid option is to try natural solutions that can help treat the cause of toe nail fungus. You should know though that it also helps to understand the causes of nail fungus and the factors that make it worse. Knowing the cause of toe nail fungus can help you avoid the condition and prevent it from getting worse.

Where you Get It

The cause of toe nail fungus is the fungus itself. The real question should be where you got it. It is part of the nature of fungi to love places that are moist and warm. Although they are really relatives of plants, fungi don’t like the sun and the air.

The fungi can be bred in several environmental conditions. The most likely place to get it though is in a public place. Think of where you have been that has a lot of wet or sweaty people and a lot of warmth and water. The most likely places are public baths or showers, pools and locker rooms. The cause of toe nail fungus could be you walking barefoot in these areas and not properly drying your feet and nails afterwards.

Salons

Salons are also some of the places where you can get the fungus. Sharing files, emery boards and other salon nail tools may not be a good idea especially if they are not properly sterilized. Although not all individuals get nail fungus in this way, it is possible to transfer fungi from one person’s nail to your own. You are especially at risk of getting nail fungus if you have small cuts near your nails and if your immune system is weak.

Socks and Shoes

Unfortunately, once the cause of toe nail fungus sets in, it is difficult to get rid of it. Even topical anti fungal creams don’t always kill nail fungus. Creams can’t always penetrate the nails to get at the root cause of toe nail fungus. It is therefore easy to understand why some people, out of desperation, tend to look for ways to cover their nails.

Nail fungus can also become worse with wearing tight socks and shoes or nonporous and non absorbent footwear. These kinds of footwear can make your condition worse by sealing more moisture in.

Indeed, it may be frustrating trying to fight nail fungus. The best thing for you to do is to avoid the situations that can get you infected or that can make an existing infection worse. Try natural solutions if nothing else works.

anxiety attack symptoms - why do we suffer with them

All of us at some time will have experienced anxiety attack symptoms to some degree or other during our lives. In a large number of cases one starts to have these symptoms when they are required to speak publicly. Do you remember how you felt when you had to carry out a presentation or speak to others. Even now you are finding just thinking about that time is starting to make you a little worried and anxious.

Are you now starting to remember just how you felt at that time. You probably felt nauseous and felt that your legs would not be able to hold you up, also you found yourself beginning to sweat. You may even felt as if you had forgotten what it is you were going to say and all you wanted to do was run away and hide. This is what doctors and other health professionals would classify as a normal everyday kind of anxiety attack.

Many people will only have anxiety attack symptoms when they are faced with something they really dislike. Sometimes it is something such as speaking in public, seeing spiders or they are required to climb a tall ladder. Most people will find that there is something specific that is going to trigger this type of anxiety attack.

For some people these symptoms are will be much more intense or occur more frequently than the average anxiety attack. Instead of them just feeling panicked when they see a spider, they suddenly begin to cry or shake or show other obvious signs.

For example a person who has a particularly aversion to spiders, may find that their symptoms can be triggered just by seeing a picture of a spider. It does not matter whether the animal is in a book, magazine or on the TV they will start to experience the symptoms of an attack. Some people even find that just hearing others talking about spiders can trigger an attack as well.

There are some people who because they cannot control their anxiety attacks will find that this in turn results in their levels of anxiety increasing. What ever is causing their anxiety to be triggered if they cannot control the situation this can lead to other things causing the attacks to be triggered in the future. Because of this these people find it not only difficult to cope with their work but also generally dealing with others in a more social aspect and generally end up trying to avoid contact with others at all costs. This can then lead to their anxiety attacks taking even more control in their lives and leads to a downward spiral when the problems become much worse.

However, luckily for these people there is hope and ways in which these problems can be treated. By going to see a doctor or a counselor they can get help to treat the anxiety attack symptoms that they are having. It is important to remember that this is not a new problem and so there is plenty of help and advice available, so no longer do sufferers have to cope with their problems alone.
