The Hidden Cause Of High Blood Pressure

Sunday, August 10th, 2008
by Christian Goodman

Today, I beg you to let go of prejudgments and propaganda produced by the traditional health business and apply your common sense. That’s the one thing that never lies.

Why do I ask you to do that?

The answer is simple. If you read any official health site, what’s the first and main point they try to pressure?

Their task is to brain wash you that the only possible approach to lower hypertension is to use prescription medications. They may quickly mention other things you can do in combination with drugs. But the main focus is on medications.

And like it wasn’t enough to be put on medication. They also claim, you’ll have to be on these medication ( and suffer all the side effects) for the rest of your life.

And what do they claim that causes hypertension…

No1 … They admit they don’t know

No2 … Genetics

No3 … Relationships with other diseases

And the treatment again…

Medications, Medications, Medication!

Even the doctors themselves admit that most often they don’t know what’s causing the high blood pressure. But they refuse to look at any other method than using drugs.

But if you apply your common sense, you’ll see in a second what really causes high blood pressure.

You’ve probably been in a situation where your blood pressure ski-rocket, haven’t you? Wasn’t it a very stressful situation you were dealing with when it happened?

Your body is actually doing exactly what it should be doing when it raises your blood pressure. In a stressful situation, your body goes into so called flight or fight mood.

This is an essential mechanism to deal with dangerous situation. This is the mechanism our forefathers depended on to run away from or fight predators. When you go into the flight or fight mood, your blood pressure rises and your muscles get tense.

It isn’t your body that’s dysfunctional, it’s the world we live in. We’re faced with stressful situations, even life threatening situations, every day. In the big cities, surrounded by people we don’t know. They may be murderers for all we know. Our being is threatened.

Like that wasn’t enough. We’ve the pressure of keeping our standard in the society. And the dread of failing. Worries about money is probably the biggest stress factor known. Money dread kills more people than anything else I know about.

This is only an example. Anything you’re stressed about will roar your blood pressure. And most people have these nagging, worrying thoughts all day and all night.

That’s the problem. What’s the answer? It’s tough to change the world, but you can take a “focused brake” once in a while!

And it’s actually quite easy. Giving your mind a few minutes focused brake is all it needs to recover. Your blood pressure drops drastically during these few minutes and stays down for a long time afterwards. You’ll feel relax and happy.

Most people who practice my high blood pressure exercises are back to normal blood pressure within a week and totally off any medication. Even those suffering from ski-rocking high hypertension.

You can do the same.

Snoring: aids

Making of unintentionally unpleasing noises while sleeping at night is known as snoring. This noise is made when excess tissues in the nose, mouth and throat obstruct the airway and vibrate. Snoring is caused by many factors and is often not just a minor nuisance, it can be a major health risk. Obesity, sleep position and increasing age may also cause snoring as the muscles in the throat get loose. Depending on what the cause of the snoring is, there are many things that can be done about it.

Sometimes if snoring is serious, there is often the need to see a doctor, hopefully a sleep specialist or an Ear Nose Throat specialist. But surgery isn’t necessarily the only option, depending on what is the problem

1. Surgery, including Sinus surgery

Sleeping position

Sleeping on the back can cause snoring as the pharynx which is a muscular tube relaxes while sleeping. This cause soft tissues of the throat to slide forward, narrowing of the airways which cause snoring. If you have a problem with snoring you may want to try sleeping on your side, and there are pillows to help you do this.

Sinus surgery

Sometimes snoring can be dealt with by less serious means, either by modifying behavior or using one of the products on the market.

Jaw positioning

Obesity leads to a greater amount of fatty tissues in the throat and neck that can vibrate and obstruct breathing. Loosing weight will help you cure snoring by reducing the fatty tissue which is present in your airways.

Jaw positioning

A jaw positioning device pulls your tongue further away from sliding backwards to the back of the throat. Product such as these dental appliances will help cure snoring. These devices are designed by a dentist specializing in the ways to cure snoring. For some people the splint is not that comfortable, and in those cases a custom fitted is usually recommended.

Children who snore

Snoring, causes:Snoring is the vibration of the respiratory structures (including throat and nasal tissues) and the resulting sound. Uvula and soft palate are usually the structures. The vibrations are caused by obstruction of the air movement during breathing while sleeping. The sound, which may be loud or soft, is very unpleasant.

Snoring, causes: There are many reasons for child snoring. Snoring in children is most often caused by enlarged tonsils and adenoids. The adenoid gland is in the nasal passage. They easily catch various bacteria which results in swelling and the snoring occurs if the swelling is not looked after and cured in time.

Child snoring can cause behavior issues, also. Children with sleep disturbances may suffer from attention problems as compared to other children. Children that snore develop problems in school. Child snoring is caused or worsened by such conditions as enlargement of the tonsils, nasal speech, overweight high blood pressure.

There are many potential health concerns with snoring. One of them is sleep apnea, a serious form of snoring. Sleep Apnea causes complete obstruction of the air the child breathes. The child feels uncomfortable due to interrupted sleep this causes. In addition to health problems, snoring in children puts them at risk for hyperactivity, a disease which can coexist with the snoring. Child snoring has also been related to other problems with behavior. Children suffering from apnea are said to have a shorter attention span compared to average children. In fact because of sleep interruption, most of the children suffering from snoring have faced attention problems in school. Some of the other major symptoms of child snoring include enlargement of the tonsils, nasalized speech, obesity and raised blood pressure.

Some of the people find it cute when children snore during sleeping. But snoring of a child is not a good sign and can be a serious matter of concern. It can be a health problem, or a sign or cause of other health problems. So even if the child’s snoring sometimes looks and sounds cute, it doesn’t mean that the child is sleeping soundly. This won’t be cute as the child gets older, particularly if there are complications. Parents should get their child medical attention to look into the cause and complications of snoring.
