Exposed, Skin Care Secrets

Friday, April 11th, 2008
by Dana Drewer

There are millions of people around the world who suffer with acne (Zits); treatments however, are slowly improving. Owing the widespread nature of this condition, scientific research into this area is intense; as a result there are a variety of new products available to help prevent and treat skin conditions. For those people that require treatment, the acne skin care products required fall broadly into a number of categories including: *Drugstore: Preventative treatment *Drugstore: Relief treatment *Prescription only treatments.

Many skin care products are used as a measure to prevent acne; these include cleansers, make-up removers and other similar products that can help prevent the condition. Many people these days use products like this to maintain their skin; in many instances the user has never had a skin condition to worry about. Other acne skin care products, like skin cleansers for instance, are more specific about their job; they clean out the pores to help stop sebum or oil which can clog these areas. Excess oil needs to be stopped from clogging the pores as this oil make it easier for bacteria to grow, exacerbating the condition.

Skin care treatments such as exfoliation skin peels, clean the skin and help control the spread of the condition; there is now a variety of this type of product available over the counter. The peels clean the skin by removing all surface pollution and dead skin cells which can block the pores. There are specialized acne skin care products available over-the-counter, they do not require the need of a prescription. These products have benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid as ingredients which cause a bad reaction in the bacterium. they are designed to extract the excess oil that bacteria need to promote the development of acne.

Dermatologists recommend any product should have low concentrations of the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide (no more than 5.5 parts per hundred) if there is an adverse reaction; a safer alternative to benzoyl peroxide is anything containing alpha hydroxy acid. Because we all have different types of skin, more than one type of acne skin care product may need to be tried; if nothing you use is effective then speak to your dermatologist for advice. If you do need to see your doctor or skin care specialist then he may give you a prescription for antibiotics or special ointments.

Your doctor can recommend that in order to extract the contents of the pustules that a small surgical procedure could be carried out; specialists never recommend the sufferer tries this themselves as it can cause permanent skin damage. Hormone treatment might be suggested as hormone changes can cause skin problems; hormone changes are known to be one cause of acne. There is no longer any reason to despair if you have this skin complaint or are prone to its effects.

There are millions of people around the world who suffer with acne pimples, commonly referred to by teens as zits. Treatments continue to imporve slowly. A great deal of money is being spent researching this skin condition; in fact many new remedies are proving very effective. Most acne skin care products can be broken down into three main areas:

1. Preventative treatments such as creams and lotions to help cleanse and tone the skin

2. Over-the-counter spot treatments available at any drugstore

3. Prescription only treatments recommended by a dermatologist

Preventative products are formulated to treat the skin in an effort to control the occurrence of acne; these products can be anything from skin cleansers to makeup removers. This is a market where many people use this type of product every day to condition their skin; there use is not just confined to individuals who are suffer with the complaint. More specialized cleaners are designed in the same way as acne skin care products; they clean out the pores to help stop sebum or oil which can clog these areas. These products prevent the oil from getting trapped in pores and can hamper the growth of bacteria, this can lead to the bad skin condition.

Other skin care treatments can help exfoliate the skin; these are easily obtainable in any drug store. The peels clean the skin by removing all surface pollution and dead skin cells which can block the pores. There is a huge market for these types of acne skin care products as they don’t require a consultation with a dermatologist. Most of these creams etc. are based on benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid, both of which are the enemies of bacteria (and hence acne); they are designed to extract the excess oil that bacteria need to promote the development of acne.

Generally it is best to start using this type of product with only a small amount of benzoyl peroxide (less than 5.5 percent is recommended), just to see how the skin reacts; should a reaction occur, products containing alpha hydroxy acid are generally safer. As with any type of zit cream, you may need to try a few acne skin care products until you find one that will suit your skin; however, if finding an effective remedy it is proving to be a problem then consult with your doctor, or skin care specialist. There are benefits of seeing your doctor or dermatologist, they can prescribe you with a prescription for treatments not available over the counter, for example a course of antibiotics.

Your doctor can recommend that in order to extract the contents of the pustules that a small surgical procedure could be carried out; although this is a minor procedure, if it were performed by the person themselves it could result in skin damage. Hormone treatment might be suggested as hormone changes can cause skin problems; hormonal changes are known to cause acne and such skin care treatments often effective. Positive research means that a sufferer does not have to put up with this condition anymore.

An Honest Acnezine Review

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008
by Chris J Lewis

Individuals who have had unfortunately experienced acne have also had to suffer from the mental and emotional heartache that this uncomfortable condition has caused. Although this condition is perceived by many as being an unpleasant physical condition there is more to it for the sufferer. The effects that the sufferer has are more personal including its affect on personal emotions, and self-image.

The natural medication Acnezine hopes to achieve its purpose, by relieving sufferers of this physically and emotionally painful condition. But the question is, does it actually do the job? We experimented with it, and here is what happened.

Some basic knowledge

You do not need a prescription if you wish to purchased Acnezine by the bottle. Acnezine is produced by a company called Ultra Herbals LLC who have had years of experience selling a wide variety of supplements. Each bottle will always contain no more than 30 gel capsules. One pill a day is the normal dosage but it is sometimes advisable to get advice from your doctor just in case you require a higher dosage.

Acnezine is free from any chemicals and only contains natural ingredients including Vitamin C, Vitamin E and also Aloe Vera. Side effects are kept to a minimum since only natural ingredients are used.

Fighting acne from within

Acnezine aims to destroy existing acne and prevent any future acne from occurring. The reason for this is, considering that acnezine only contains natural ingredients, the product’s antioxidants function to attack all the bacteria - which are the main causes of skin damage such as acne and other skin infections.

The bacteria that causes acne to occur does also aggravate even life-threatening diseases such as cancer and heart disease. Since Acnezine contains antioxidants it is able to manage to control the bacteria and therefore existing acne can be healed and new acne can be prevented.

Varying results

No matter what drug, the effects may vary from one individual to another, and this also is the case with Acnezine. Also for each case the time it takes to see positive results is different. It is advised to keep to a healthy lifestyle whilst taking Acnezine supplements. A good healthy diet, enough exercise and decent sleep are usually the best approach to take for a better overall health.

In the long run, a solid regimen that employs both internal and external therapy can dramatically reduce your acne and restore a new self-esteem.

The verdict

Acnezine is by far one of the best products we have ever tried. Results were visible in just two weeks. There was less redness and puffiness, and the scars seem to be disappearing. Definitely worth a try!
